Throughout her presidency, Hayaat has spearheaded campaigns and events across the College’s campuses aimed at tackling knife crime, working in collaboration with local police and youth organisations. Her dedication has not only educated and empowered her peers but also fostered a safer, more informed college community.

As a passionate ambassador for women in STEM, Hayaat recently organised ‘FutureHer’, a student conference featuring guest speakers from diverse industries, designed to inspire students and highlight the vital contributions of women in technical fields. Her efforts continue to challenge stereotypes and encourage greater female participation in engineering and automotive disciplines.

In recognition of these accomplishments, the mayor shared personal advice and counsel with Hayaat during their meeting, commending her commitment and courage.
