What will I study?

The course will cover the basics of the three main branches of science:

  • Biology: Cell theory, human anatomy, genetics, and basic ecology.
  • Chemistry: The periodic table, atomic structure, states of matter, and basic chemical reactions.
  • Physics: Forces and energy, the solar system, and sustainability.

No formal qualification.

The course will also teach the learner essential scientific skills i.e. how to think scientifically and provide practical lab & safety knowledge.

It can help learners progress onto higher-level science qualifications, Access to Higher Education programmes, GCSE Science, or vocational courses in areas such as healthcare, environmental science, engineering, and laboratory sciences.
