What will I study?

This gentle and supportive painting class is designed to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself and explore your emotions through creativity.

Discover the power of painting as a form of mindfulness. This course blends painting with simple mindfulness practices to help you relax, tune into the present moment and express yourself in a creative way.

We will use colour and shape to reflect your mood and let go of perfection through process and expressive art.

How do I get a place on the course?

To enrol contact our student services department by dialling 0121 678 7000 - option 1, followed by option 2 then option 3.  Alternatively, you can visit one of our campuses.

The student services department are open from 8.30 am until 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30 am until 4.30 pm on a Friday.

What are the entry requirements?

No artistic skill is required, just an open mind and willingness to experiment.

What else do I need to know?

Equipment required:

  • A3 pad containing 250gsm+ mixed media paper OR 300gsm cold pressed watercolour paper;
  • set of watercolours;
  • set of acrylic paints;
  • brushes.
