Where will this course lead?

Onto another sewing skills course which can further develop your skills or onto a pattern cutting course whwre you can learn about making your own clothes. 

What will I study?

This course will cover the basics of sewing, you wil learn the correct termonology for the parts of a sewing machine and how to use a sewing machine safely. You will alos learn how to thread a sewing machine and basic stitching. you will then complete a basic sewing project of your choice, guided by the tutor. This course is designed to be an introduction to how to use a sewing machine.

How will this course be delivered?

This course is planned to run during term time only and will not take place during college closures, including-but not limited to-staff training days and GCSE examinations. While the current plan is to deliver the programme over 5 weeks at 2.hours per week, this schedule is subject to change. The total cost is calculated based on the total number of hours delivered for each programme.
