Understand how music can support your mental health and reduce anxiety and stress.

What will I study?

You will get a taster in many different areas of music including some of the following:

Explore variety of music styles

Play instruments

Singing for pleasure

Learn new songs

Understand how various beats and rhythm impact your mood

This course will show you how to use music as a means of relaxation and escapism whilst learning new skills

How will this course be delivered?

This is a 2-hour class taught every Thursday 6-8pm for 6 weeks at Blossomfield Campus.

What qualifications will I get?

This is a personal development course there is no qualification gained.

How will I be assessed?

This course will be informally assessed by the tutor also by the student's self-assessment and evaluation.

What are the entry requirements?

No qualifications or previous experience are needed for this course.

You must be aged 19+.

What can I do after this course?

After completing the course you may wish to attend a more intense course in music where will be focusing on songwriting and singing in depth or simply use this course for your own personal satisfaction.
