Following the success of last year’s fantastic inaugural celebration, Solihull College & University Centre will again be a proud sponsor for this year’s Pride event.
Solihull BID has confirmed that Solihull Pride will return on Saturday 8th August 2026 and with collaboration from several businesses and organisations based in and around the town centre, plans are well underway for another vibrant day of celebration.
The event will feature a walking parade through the town centre and live performances taking place in Mell Square. There will be a host of other activities happening around the town, with more information here.
The continued celebration of Pride in Solihull remains significant, providing an opportunity to raise awareness of the LGBT+ community and to recognise and celebrate those who have fought for LGBTQ+ rights over the decades. It also offers an important platform to champion visibility, inclusion and equality across the borough.
Alongside the College’s sponsorship, Solihull Pride is made possible thanks to the continued support of headline and associate sponsors, as well as a wide network of local partners and organisations.
