Our Health and Social Care Apprenticeships can lead to a range of rewarding careers so choose to study with Solihull College and you’ll soon be helping others lead a better way of life.

As a Social Care apprentice you’ll learn how to help people with a particular need, such as the elderly or people with learning disabilities. If you choose to be a Health Care apprentice you could find yourself working in hospitals, the community or private clinics to support doctors and nurses or patients in their own homes.

After completing the Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship you’ll be able to go directly into employment in roles such as a healthcare assistant, support worker or personal care assistant, plus many more.

If you decide to progress onto the Level 3 Apprenticeship you’ll gain greater responsibility in your role, which could be anything from working as a senior healthcare assistant, community support worker or outreach development officer, amongst others.

Completion of the Level 3 Apprenticeship will stand you in good stead for progression onto a Higher Education course at Solihull College, including the Foundation Degree in Health & Social Care with Oxford Brookes University.
