March 27 @ 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Do you have a passion for numbers? Are you looking for a new or change of career?
If you are interested in building a new career teaching maths to adults we would like to invite you to come along to an open evening for a chat over a cup of tea and cake. This is a fantastic opportunity to come along and see what we can offer and if a career in teaching Maths might interest you.
Whether you are currently working in industry, maybe a financial setting, or from an educational background we would love to meet you and discuss the opportunities we have. For the right candidates there is long term work available. We are an excellent provider and we are looking to recruit hourly paid Lecturers to teach daytime, twilight and evening sessions. Currently we have sessions in Solihull, Bromsgrove, Worcester and the Black Country with a lot of our delivery taking place at employer’s premises.
During the evening there will be a short presentation to outline the nature of the work and exactly what’s involved in being a part of a supportive and successful Maths Department. You will have the opportunity to find out what Functional Skills and Maths qualifications we deliver. In return we offer competitive hourly pay; free training to obtain a teaching qualification and mileage is paid when travelling between sites.
Please contact us on 0121 678 7056 or via hr@solihull.ac.uk to register your interest and also book onto one of the presentation sessions. The presentations will take place at 4.15pm and 5.30pm and there will be an opportunity to meet the Head of School and the Coordinator for the area.
Please note to deliver Level 2 Maths you must have an A Level or above in Maths or a Maths related subject.
Check our website for more details and course information. If you are interested in teaching in any other area(s) please contact HR via HR.recruitment@solihull.ac.uk
